Consumer Rights & Compliance Disclosures

Federal law gives you real rights. Here they are — no fine print, no legalese.

Your rights under the Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA)

  • No upfront fees for credit repair. Under CROA, no credit repair organization may charge for services before they are fully performed. Our repair service is bundled with your monitoring subscription — you pay only for monitoring, and only on an ongoing monthly basis.
  • Three-day right to cancel. You may cancel any service agreement, in writing, within three business days of signing without penalty or obligation.
  • Written contract. Every service relationship is governed by a written contract explaining services, fees, and your rights.
  • No guarantees. No credit repair company may promise a specific score change or removal of any specific item. Anyone who does is violating federal law.
  • You can do this yourself. You have the right to dispute credit report items directly with the credit bureaus and furnishers, at no cost. Our service exists because doing it well, cycle after cycle, is a job.

Your rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA)

  • You have the right to a free credit report from each of the three major bureaus annually at AnnualCreditReport.com.
  • You have the right to dispute inaccurate or unverifiable information; the bureau must reinvestigate within 30 days.
  • Furnishers have their own duty to investigate and correct inaccurate reporting.
  • You have the right to sue for willful non-compliance.

Your rights under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA)

  • Debt collectors must validate a debt within five days of first contact if you request it.
  • Collectors may not harass, threaten, or contact you at unreasonable times.
  • You may demand a collector cease contact in writing.
